We were invited to meet with the Consul General of Japan at his home in San Francisco on Sunday night. I was asked to be the representative speaker for all the teachers and administrators going on this JFMF Teacher Program. It was an honor that I will never forget. We found out that we are the last group getting to go to Japan! How lucky for us and how sad for all the others who will to be able to participate.

Such an honor to meet with the Consul General. What a shame to lose programs of citizen diplomacy. Just when we need it the most!
